电容式电荷泵按其升压方式分为倍频和分数倍频两种，前者的效率约为90％，后者的效率为93％～95％。电容式电荷泵按其输出分为恒压输出和恒流输出两种；按其驱动LED的方式分，有并联恒压驱动、单个恒流驱动、串联恒流驱动等。电感式升压器都是恒流输出，输出电压较高，对LED实行串联驱动。由
AAT3110构成的电荷泵电路如图1所示。该电荷泵电路为输出并联稳压供电方式,具有外部电路器件少、走线简单、转换效率高等特点。
AAT3ll0是美国研诺逻辑科技有限（AATI）公司开发的微功率升压电荷泵，它可以提供一个稳定的5V输出电压。在应用时，没有其他升压泵所必需的电感器，外部电路只使用3只小型的陶瓷电容器。由
AAT3110构成的电荷泵的输出电流为100mA，可以驱动4～5只白光或蓝光LED，以满足彩色LCD背光的要求。
AAT3110主要特点是具有非常低的静态电流和较高的转换效率，负载范围大，是以电池为供电电源的电子设备的理想升压器件。
AAT3110工作在升压状态下,工作频率为750kHz，使用脉冲跳跃技术，其输入电压范围为2.7～5.5V，输出稳定的5V电压，转换效率达90％以上，输出纹波电压小于同类产品。
AAT3110具有防静电保护（ESD大于2kV）、短路保护、过热保护功能，其自身的静态电流仅为13μA，在停机状态下耗用电流小于1μA。
采用
AAT3110驱动LED的电路如图2所示。该电路布线少，使用方便，因而工艺成本低；外围电路不使用电感器件，无电磁干扰（EMI）。

由于
AAT3110采用6脚SOT-23封装和8脚SC70JW小尺寸封装，适用于表面贴装，在印制电路板上所占空问很小。SC70JW是AATI公司发明的超小型8引脚封装专利技术，芯片占空比达42％，占用的印制电路板面积仅为4.2mm2。该芯片采取抬起安装方式，可利用空气受热后自然流动的方式散热，也可使芯片的3个引脚接地，充分利用印制电路板散热。
AAT3110也是AAT系列的微功率升压电荷泵，它的输入电压是1.8～8.3V／8.6V，输出稳定电压为8.3V或8.6V，最适合于使用两节电池作为电源的产品，适用于移动电话、PDA、E-book、平板显示器、智能读卡机、USB 5V稳压电源、GSM手机的SIM接口电源。

AAT3110 can deliver up to 150mAto the voltage regulated output. The
AAT3110 features very low quiescent current and high efficiency over a large portion of its load range making this device ideal for battery-powered applications. Furthermore, the combination of few external components and small package size keeps the total converter board area to a minimum in space restricted applications. The
AAT3110 operates in an output-regulated voltage doubling mode. The regulator uses a pulse-skip-ping technique to provide a regulated output from a varying input supply. The
AAT3110 contains a thermal management circuit to protect the device under continuous output short circuit conditions.

AAT3110 is available in a surface mount 6-pin SOT23 or 8-pin SC70JW package and is rated from -40 to 85°C.
